Here is a link to disability rights activist Stephen Mendelsohn’s wonderful testimony at the March 18, 2015 public hearing on the assisted suicide bill currently under consideration in the Connecticut General Assembly (HB 7015). Stephen is a leader of Second Thoughts Connecticut, a group of people with disabilities fighting the legalization of assisted suicide because it “enshrines lethal disability discrimination into our law.”
The testimony says it all. It really needs no introduction.
